Lorman Education Services Seminar

San Francisco partners Cheryl Orr and Heather Sager will present this Lorman Education Services Seminar, sponsored by BLR and the Employment Rights Institute. The interactive seminar, entitled “Document Retention and Destruction,” will cover all stages of document preservation, as well as litigation holds and document retention practices in the context of threatened or ongoing litigation. Cheryl and Heather, both members of the firm's Labor & Employment Practice Group, will cover fact patterns resulting from inadvertent destruction of evidence, and discuss the potential impact on litigation and business operations of an ineffective document preservation policy. Attendees will learn what records to store and when, why and how to destroy them, and how to comply with pertinent statutory and regulatory standards.
