Licensing of Intellectual Property in the Age of Smartphones: What’s the Hang-Up?

Philadelphia partner Paul Saint-Antoine will speak at PLI’s Antitrust Counseling & Compliance 2012, scheduled for November 2, 2012 in New York City.

The title of Paul’s program is “Licensing of Intellectual Property in the Age of Smartphones:  What’s the Hang-Up?”

Paul, co-chair of the Antitrust Practice Group, will discuss the following topics:

  • What restrictions in licensing agreements may get you in trouble;
  • Refusals to license, tying and patent pooling agreements;
  • Disclosure of intellectual property during standard setting and RAND licensing; and
  • The DOJ/FTC Guidelines for Licensing of Intellectual Property and antitrust approaches to licensing in Europe.
