Legal Issues for Artists and Dealers

Overview

Drinker Biddle attorney Janet Fries, Counsel in the firm's Intellectual Property Group, spoke on legal issues for artists and collectors March 31 at Corcoran College of Art and Design in Washington DC.  Ms. Fries explored the legal relationship between artists and dealers and the need for commission agreements, gallery contracts, contracts to sell artwork and partnership agreements.
