Drinker Biddle Partners Present New Jersey Ethics CLE

On Thursday, December 11, Drinker Biddle lawyers presented a year-end Ethics CLE program in the Florham Park office. The seminar, which was moderated by Rob Vinci, focused on three distinct ethics topics presented by five Drinker Biddle partners.

Matt Fedor and Helen Tuttle discussed the no contact rule and how it applies in the corporate context. Daniel Carroll and Mike Zogby focused on how the use of social media, such as Facebook and LinkedIn, implicates ethics rules, and the ethical concerns that must be addressed when using social media in litigation. Finally, Tom Campion talked about how New Jersey’s disciplinary system is administered and what the most frequent violations are. Tom finished with the simple yet time-honored reminder that the easiest way to stay out of trouble (and not lose your license) is to remember what your parents taught you about honesty and good behavior.

More than 50 people attended the program in Florham Park, which was also video streamed to the Princeton and Philadelphia offices.
