Chicago partner Ira Kalina spoke at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012.

Ira was a guest lecturer in the Intellectual Property Management and Markets master’s program. He spoke on advanced topics, including the impact of open source on mergers, acquisitions and venture investing and the impact of patent litigation and non-practicing entities (a.k.a “Trolls”) on acquisitions.
