2030 Water Resources Group — a collaboration of governments, businesses, and civil society—predicts a 40% gap between global water supply and demand within the next five years. This imbalance, driven by worldwide economic development in the face of accelerating loss of groundwater reservoirs from depletion and pollution, is a growing business risk, a threat to economic stability, and a challenge for environmental sustainability.  Advanced technology and effective policy can help close the water gap, but lasting progress will require cooperation and long-term commitments by governments, investors, NGOs, and industry.

Confirmed speakers include:

Carl Ganter (moderator) — Co-founder and director of Circle of Blue, an internationally recognized center for original frontline reporting, research, and analysis on water resource issues and the water-food-energy-climate nexus. Carl is a member of the Global Future Council on the Energy Nexus at the World Economic Forum.
• Tom Ferguson — Founder and managing partner of Burnt Island Ventures, the world's leading venture capital firm dedicated exclusively to water technology.
• Larry Graev — Founding partner of Société de L’Eau Aérienne Suisse, S.A. (SEAS), a global pioneer in air-to-water generation technology. 
• Ravi Kurani — Water and climate technology entrepreneur and host of the Liquid Assets podcast.
• Kyle Schoenheit — Product manager at Xylem Innovation Labs, the technology incubator and commercial partnerships accelerator at Xylem, Inc.
