Faegre Drinker is pleased to invite you to a special event hosted at our Indianapolis office featuring distinguished representatives from the Japan Patent Office (JPO) and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). Please join us for an engaging luncheon and presentation designed for members of the intellectual property community.

We are honored to welcome Mr. Atsushi Hiruta (JETRO) and three JPO examiners specializing in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and chemistry sectors. The JPO and JETRO delegation will provide:

  • Updates on recent developments at the JPO
  • Insights on examination quality within the JPO
  • Special U.S. prosecution features beneficial for practitioners
  • Discussion of USPTO initiatives for potential implementation by the JPO

Featured JPO & JETRO Guests:
