Preparing for CCPA Enforcement: Litigation Insights and Compliance Considerations

An Interface Series Webinar

Overview

This program is part of a monthly webinar series hosted by Faegre Drinker’s privacy, cybersecurity and data strategy (PCDS) team. Each session will open with a 360-degree overview of PCDS and IT news developments from around the world, followed by a deep dive on a significant legal issue impacting clients. Speakers include a who’s who of the industry, from Faegre Drinker attorneys to technology, operations and regulatory experts.

The California Attorney General begins enforcement of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) on July 1, but we have already seen a slew of claims brought by consumers since the Act first became operative on January 1. In this kickoff Interface webinar, Faegre Drinker’s Justin Kay and DiCello Levitt’s Amy Keller – the co-lead plaintiffs' counsel in the Equifax and Marriott data breach cases – dissect outstanding CCPA claims and examine how businesses can mitigate litigation and enforcement risks.
