PLI’s Antitrust Counseling and Compliance 2019 Program

Overview

Philadelphia partner Paul Saint-Antoine was a panelist at the PLI’s Antitrust Counseling and Compliance 2019 program on October 18, 2019, in New York City. Paul’s presentation, titled “Intellectual Property Licensing and Antitrust Considerations,” provided an overview of antitrust issues arising in connection with the sale and licensing of intellectual property rights. Paul also discussed the issue of so-called FRAND commitments for standard essential patents, both generally and in the context of the FTC’s enforcement action against Qualcomm.
