Florham Park partner Lynne Anderson presented at Seton Hall Law School’s U.S. Healthcare Compliance Certification Program on June 14. Lynne participated on a panel titled “Being the Focus of a Government Investigation.” Mike Doyle of the FBI; Jacob Elberg of the U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of New Jersey; and Scott McBride of Lowenstein Sandler will join Lynne on the panel. Seton Hall Law School Senior Associate Dean Timothy Glynn moderated.
Lynne also joined Washington, D.C., partner Jesse Witten for a presentation titled “The Perils of Dealing with Whistleblowers Under the False Claims Act” on June 12.
The biannual program provides a comprehensive overview of state, federal and international law governing prescription drugs and medical devices. Topics include privacy and data protection, FDA approval and regulation, anti-kickback laws, health care fraud sentencing, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the False Claims Act. Attendees include in-house counsel, compliance officers and other senior and compliance employees of pharma, life sciences and other healthcare companies.
