Being the Focus of a Government Investigation

Labor and Employment partner Lynne Anderson spoke at Seton Hall Law’s U.S. Healthcare Compliance Certification Program on June 15. The event provided a comprehensive overview of state, federal and international law governing prescription drugs and medical devices.

Over the course of the four-day program, attendees delved into fraud and abuse law, examined health care-related laws, engaged in group problem-solving activities and analyzed laws and regulations through case studies.

Lynne spoke on a panel titled, “Being the Focus of a Government Investigation,” which looked at how to deal with employee whistleblowers. Mike Doyle of the FBI; Jacob Elberg of the U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of New Jersey; Scott McBride of Lowenstein Sandler; and Jim Sheehan of the Office of New York Attorney General joined Lynne on the panel. Seton Hall Law School senior associate dean Timothy Glynn moderated.
