Wage & Hour Boot Camp: An In-Depth Analysis of Wage & Hour Law Essentials for New Practitioners

Overview

San Francisco partner Cheryl Orr and Los Angeles associate Phil Lebel led a Wage & Hour boot camp at ACI’s 28th National Forum in Wage & Hour Claims & Class Actions. The September 25 presentation was titled, “Wage & Hour Boot Camp: An In-Depth Analysis of Wage & Hour Law Essentials for New Practitioners.” Cheryl and Phil’s presentation addressed common types of claims, an introduction to wage and hour litigation, and emerging issues in wage and hour law.

Cheryl co-chaired the two-day San Francisco conference and gave opening remarks, along with William Martucci of Shook, Hardy & Bacon. She also moderated a panel discussion titled, “In-House Insights on New and Emerging Areas of Risk in the Wage & Hour Landscape; Responding to Enhanced Enforcement Initiatives; Compliance Strategies and Pitfalls to Avoid; Selecting and Retaining Outside Counsel; Internal Audit Assessment; Managing Complex Litigation; and More.”
