Helping AD Distributors Prepare for the Upcoming Overtime Rule Changes

Philadelphia partner David Woolf presented a webinar titled, “Helping AD Distributors Prepare For the Upcoming Overtime Rule Changes.”

The new overtime rule, which is to become effective on December 1, 2016, is estimated to impact approximately 4.2 million now exempt employees. Employers need to start addressing what to do with impacted employees now and develop an effective communications strategy. Employers would also be wise to use the change as an opportunity to do a fuller employee audit, particularly as to employees whose salaries are currently just above the new threshold ($47,476).
