Washington D.C. partner, Peter Blenkinsop, spoke on a panel of four people on Wednesday, June 15, at the Gartner Security and Risk Summit 2016. The session, titled, “Globalization of Personal Data Stops Here – Did Europe Pull the Break?” focused around a new privacy law within the European Union. Drawing on his experience with international data transfer issues under the EU Data Protection Directive and other foreign privacy laws, Peter discussed the latest developments surrounding privacy from a legal standpoint.
