Fifth Annual ABA Section of Litigation Food & Supplements Workshop

At the 2015 ABA Section of Litigation Food & Supplements Workshop, Alyssa Rebensdorf of Faegre Baker Daniels will moderate a panel on "A Year in Review for Food & Supplements." Sarah Brew of Faegre Baker Daniels co-chairs the Food & Supplements Subcommittee of the ABA's Products Liability Committee, and the firm is a sponsor of the workshop.

Rebensdorf's panel will focus on food and supplement litigation, both civil and criminal, which continue to generate headlines. An experienced panel will blend law and science to update attendees on recent developments, trends and theories in foodborne illness investigation and litigation, food safety standards and compliance in a global environment, and criminal prosecutions of industry executives related to product contamination. Panelists include representatives from YUM! Brands, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Metagenome Analytics, Southern Trial Counsel, and the U.S. Attorney's Office.
