Food, Drug & Device: Labeling Class Actions

Program:

Sarah L. Brew of Faegre Baker Daniels will speak at "Food, Drug & Device: Labeling Class Actions," a program exploring class actions brought against food companies challenging their product labels, including the use of terms such as "natural." Speakers will discuss recent cases and analyze past decisions addressing class certification, pre-emption, consumer fraud, and other claims and defenses.

Other speakers will be David P. Graham of Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly LLP and Lori J. Marco of Hormel Foods Corporation.

Lunch will be served beginning at 11:30 a.m., with the CLE program starting at 11:45 a.m. Teleconferencing is available, but registration needs to be received by April 30, 2012, to receive teleconferencing instructions.
