Reducing Your Risk Under the FCPA & Other Anti-Corruption Laws

Washington, D.C., partner Jesse Witten presented an FX Conferences audio conference titled “Reducing Your Risk Under the FCPA & Other Anti-Corruption Laws” on June 14.

The presentation addressed the Department of Justice and Security and Exchange Commission’s heightened enforcement of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA). It also addressed the new U.K. Bribery Act, scheduled to take effect July 1, 2011.

Jesse provided guidance for companies with international operations on how to best develop and implement internal controls to reduce enforcement risk under the FCPA and other anti-corruption laws. He also addressed how companies can design and implement self-reviews for anti-corruption compliance.
