Monica Fennell Recognized by American Bar Association for Access-to-Justice Leadership

Senior pro bono counsel Monica Fennell has been recognized by the American Bar Association (ABA) as an instrumental leader in the establishment of access-to-justice and interest on lawyer trust accounts (IOLTA) initiatives in Indiana. Fennell was among 10 Indiana leaders honored for their contributions to advancing access to civil legal services in the state.

Fennell was honored during the 2026 ABA Forum on Building Access to Justice for All in Indianapolis, a national forum focused on expanding access to legal services and strengthening the civil justice system so that people can seek justice regardless of income or circumstance. This year’s forum marked the 25th anniversary of the National Meeting of State Access to Justice Commission Chairs and the 40th anniversary of the ABA Commission on IOLTA, recognizing decades of work to expand legal services, improve access to courts and strengthen civil legal aid programs nationwide.
