Faegre Drinker announced today that Jennifer Fowler has joined the firm as chief talent officer in Chicago.
Fowler leads Faegre Drinker’s global talent strategy and initiatives, overseeing a team responsible for human resources, recruiting, professional and career development, compensation, benefits, and employee well-being. With three decades of experience in the legal sector, including 20 years specializing in human resources at major global law firms, Fowler brings deep experience advancing talent development and HR operations across complex organizations.
“Jen brings a forward-looking perspective and experience in professional development and talent management that aligns with our commitment to invest in our people,” said Chief Operating Officer Nolan Kurtz. “She’s an innovative leader who recognizes that attracting and retaining the best talent requires promoting a high-performance culture and embracing new approaches.”
Before joining Faegre Drinker, Fowler held senior HR positions at multiple international law firms, driving professional development, feedback initiatives, employee recognition programs, and standardized processes. She brings an innovative approach to attorney and operations talent development, and a commitment to advancing HR operations. Fowler’s understanding of the challenges and requirements of managing talent in large, multi-office international law firms positions her well to drive the firm’s talent strategy and support its ongoing growth and success.
“I’m excited to join Faegre Drinker and collaborate with colleagues across the firm to further strengthen our talent strategy,” said Fowler. “Creating an environment that prioritizes development, feedback, recognition, and well-being is essential to long-term success, and I look forward to supporting the growth of our attorneys, consultants, and operations and administrative teams.”
Fowler earned her bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and a human resources certificate from Villanova University.
