Faegre Drinker announced today that Roger Tsai has joined Faegre Drinker’s labor and employment practice group as partner in the Denver office. Tsai joins from a national law firm where he was a partner and chair of the Corporate Immigration Practice.
In his private practice, Tsai finds a path for employers to retain international talent ensuring compliance with state and federal laws while doing so. He assists universities and companies in the health care, technology and energy sectors in filing immigration petitions including H-1Bs, L-1As, L-1Bs, O-1s, TN, E-2s, J-1 Waivers, EB-1 Outstanding Researchers, PERM, NIW and EB-5 forms, and counsels companies through investigations from the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement. “We are thrilled to welcome Roger to the labor and employment group and know his extensive background in immigration matters will be a great asset to our employee mobility and international teams,” said Cheryl Orr, labor and employment practice group leader. “Roger’s unique experiences working across several industries, like health care and technology, will be a tremendous benefit to many clients in Denver and across the globe.”
Tsai draws on his 17 years of deep experience at the forefront of business immigration law and has been consistently recognized by Chambers USA and Best Lawyers in America. He assists employers through internal audits of their employment eligibility documents to make sure they are compliant with state and federal law. “Roger is an outstanding lawyer and an ideal fit for our Denver team,” said Denver office leader Jared Briant. “It’s been exciting to see the recent additions of lawyers in our Denver office, and I know Roger will be an impactful resource for many of our clients.”
