“Danielle’s wealth of experience handling complex patent issues — both in-house and in private practice — will be highly valuable to clients and their most technical challenges,” intellectual property practice group leader Jim Steffen said in a statement. “We are delighted to welcome Danielle to Faegre Drinker.”

Rosenthal has been extensively involved in all aspects of patent litigation, representing clients on both the plaintiff and defense-side, before various federal district courts, and in appeals to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. She has litigated patents in a variety of technical areas, including mobile phone operating systems and software, natural language processing technology, online content management, battery components, medical devices and financial services. She has argued cases in numerous district courts as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Rosenthal clerked for the Honorable Alan D. Lourie at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. She leverages an educational background in mechanical engineering to digest and explain highly technical subjects with ease.

Rosenthal earned her bachelor’s degree from Yale University and her Juris Doctor from University of Pennsylvania Law School.
