Janet Fries Receives ABA Section of Intellectual Property Law Award

Washington, DC of counsel Janet Fries was recognized for her contribution to the advancement of Intellectual Property Law with an award from the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Intellectual Property Law. Janet received her award during the ABA’s Annual Meeting in San Francisco at the annual Business Meeting of the Intellectual Property Section on August 8, 2019.

Janet has been active in the ABA for many years and has held a variety of positions in the IP Section. For the past four years Janet served as one of 16 members of the Council for the IP Section. She recently accepted the position of Chair of the Copyright Division of the IP Section for 2019−2020, having previously served as Chair in 2015−2016.
