Justin Kay Named One of Chicago Daily Law Bulletin’s 40 Under Forty

Litigation partner Justin Kay was named one of Chicago Daily Law Bulletin’s "40 Under Forty" for 2018. The list, now in its 19th year, identifies 40 of the most talented young attorneys practicing in Illinois. Those named to the list exemplify intelligence, passion, success in the office, a desire to help their communities, and a willingness to work hard. This year’s selection process was described as “more intense than ever,” with the 40 honorees being selected from over 1,500 nominations.

Justin was recognized for his class action defense practice, and described as “combin[ing] command of the legal principles with a good demeanor, which is a winning combination,” and a “take charge attorney.”

Justin’s practice focuses on the defense of complex civil matters in federal and state courts and before federal agencies, including consumer class actions, securities cases and antitrust matters. Justin is a vice chair of the firm’s Class Actions Team and a member of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act Team. He is also chair of the firm’s National Hiring Committee.
