Cheryl Orr Discusses Opportunities and Challenges for Practical Law with Columbia Law School Classmates

San Francisco managing partner Cheryl Orr was quoted in a Q&A for Practical Law titled “Connections, Community, Opportunities and Challenges.” Cheryl joined two Columbia Law School classmates: Paul Greco, who is now co-chair of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney’s Trade Secret and Restrictive Covenants Practice Group, and Tod Eggenberger, who is now Managing Editor of Practical Law’s Commercial Transactions Jurisdictional Team.

The trio discussed their favorite law school memories, keeping in touch and working with other Columbia Law alumni, and how their career paths evolved after law school. They also shared some of the challenges in their practice areas, as well as their proudest accomplishments.

Cheryl praised her Drinker Biddle team, stating “I get a lot of joy out of mentoring young attorneys and seeing them develop. That’s the most rewarding part of my job. Both the associates and partners I work with are very smart, work well with each other and that enthusiasm is noticed and appreciated by our clients as well.”
