Fred Reish Quoted in Financial Advisor on DOL Fiduciary Rule

Los Angeles partner Fred Reish was quoted in the Financial Advisor article “Rollovers Present Biggest Risk During the DOL Transition.” The article explains how advisors should assist investors with rollovers to avoid regulatory issues under the new DOL fiduciary rule.

The article referenced an earlier webinar hosted by RIA in a Box, in which Fred was a participant. During the discussion, Fred discussed how to adhere to the “impartial conduct standards” under the transition rules. He highlighted the complicated nature of the fiduciary rule, explaining that “[p]eople have been combining the conflict of interest rules and the fiduciary standard of care and mushing them together and just calling it the ‘fiduciary rule.’ It’s more complicated than that.”
