Fred Reish Quoted in ThinkAdvisor on Preston Rutledge’s Confirmation to the EBSA

Los Angeles partner Fred Reish was quoted in a ThinkAdvisor article about the confirmations of Hester Peirce and Robert Jackson as SEC commissioners, as well as Preston Rutledge’s confirmation as assistant secretary of labor for the Employee Benefits Security Administration.

The article notes that Rutledge will be a key figure in any changes to the Labor Department’s fiduciary rule. Fred stated that Rutledge’s “years of experience with retirement issues and the political environment will make him an effective leader for moving the fiduciary rule through the DOL and coordinating with the SEC.”
