Are 401(k) Plans in Jeopardy?

Washington, D.C., partner Brad Campbell was featured in a Fox Business Segment titled “Are 401(k) Plans in Jeopardy?” Brad and Bankrate Chief Financial Analyst Greg McBride provided an overview of a 401(k) plan and the potential benefits and risks of the then-rumored changes that may be proposed by the Republican-proposed House tax reform legislation.

The version of the reform legislation introduced three days later did not contain the controversial provisions regarding post-tax Roth vs. traditional pre-tax contributions to retirement plans discussed on the show, but such changes may still be considered as tax reform legislation progresses in Congress.
