Stuart Buttrick Named Volunteer of the Year by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce

Faegre Baker Daniels partner Stuart Buttrick has been named Volunteer of the Year by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.

This award is presented annually to community members who work tirelessly with the Chamber of Commerce to create a better business community. The winners continuously offer their time and knowledge to make Indiana a better place to live, work and do business.

Buttrick leads the labor management relations team for FaegreBD's labor and employment practice group. He serves as a director on multiple boards in the Central Indiana area, including the Indianapolis Zoo, Park Tudor school, the Woodstock Foundation and the Indiana United Methodist Children's Home in Lebanon. He emphasizes volunteer work in his practice and enjoys encouraging his family to join him in his efforts. Buttrick voiced how all people can help foster a sense of community and work toward a common good.

"The Chamber does such good work on behalf of Indiana business," Buttrick said. "We wouldn't be what we are without the Chamber. If I can help, in some small way, the Chamber do what they do, that's good for everybody. Ultimately, when business succeeds, everyone succeeds."

The Indiana Chamber partners with 24,000 members and investors--representing over four million Hoosiers--to achieve the mission of "cultivating a world-class environment which provides economic opportunity and prosperity."
