Ken Dort Quoted in Modern Healthcare May 2015

Chicago partner Ken Dort was quoted in a Modern Healthcare article titled, “Experts urge swift call for help to investigate data breaches.” The article discusses the data hack to CareFirst Blue Cross and Blue Shield, which resulted in a breach of the personal information of 1.1 million individuals.

Ken said that CareFirst probably should have contacted an external firm when it first discovered the attack back in 2014; they may have waited too long.
