White Collar Team Wins Dismissal of Federal False Claims Act Matter

Drinker Biddle & Reath’s White Collar Criminal Defense & Corporate Investigations Team recently secured the dismissal of a Federal False Claims Act qui tam action in the Southern District of Ohio. The litigation involved allegations that a developer and general contractor were responsible for purported violations of the Davis-Bacon Act and Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act in connection with the construction of a public housing project.  The potential damages were alleged to be in excess of $60 million.

Leading the case on behalf of the national development company were Drinker Biddle partners Barry Gross and Mark Sosnowsky, as well as associate Joshua Link.
