Fred Reish and Joan Neri Quoted in PLANADVISER

Los Angeles partner Reish, Fred and Florham Park counsel Joan Neri were quoted in a PLANADVISER article titled, “Was 2015 the Year of the Fiduciary?” the article discussed the high volume of reporting filed  on the Department of Labor’s (DOL) fiduciary rulemaking.

Fred and Joan said that key aspects of the fiduciary rulemaking in 2015 involved retirement plan distribution advice. They said that the proposal “says you would be a fiduciary for recommending a distribution or advising a participant about the investment of assets to be rolled over to an IRA.”
