Sylvia St. Clair Joins FaegreBD Labor & Employment Practice in Chicago

Sylvia St. Clair has joined Faegre Baker Daniels as an associate in the labor and employment practice group. She will focus on employment litigation, counseling clients on proper employment practices and risk management from the law firm’s Chicago office.

St. Clair brings experience in cases before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Illinois Department of Human Rights, and state and federal courts. From small business owners to large companies, she has defended employers in wrongful termination and discrimination matters involving gender, race, national origin and age discrimination. In addition to labor and employment, St. Clair’s experience includes commercial, product liability, toxic tort and transportation matters.

Before joining FaegreBD, St. Clair was a litigation attorney at Segal McCambridge Singer & Mahoney, Ltd. where she practiced commercial, employment, product liability, toxic tort and transportation law. She graduated cum laude from the Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2013 after earning her bachelor’s degree from DePaul University in 2010.

Prior to her legal profession, St. Clair enjoyed a decade-long career in hospitality management, holding various positions with hotels, restaurants and a racetrack.
