Sarah Brew Selected to FDLI's Food and Dietary Supplements Committee

Sarah L. Brew of Faegre Baker Daniels LLP has been appointed to the Food and Drug Law Institute's (FDLI) Food and Dietary Supplements Committee.

As a committee member, Brew will help deliver top-ranked educational programs and conferences and practical publications for the food and dietary supplement industries. Her three-year term begins in April 2013, just prior to FDLI's 2013 Annual Conference on April 23-24 in Washington, D.C.

A partner, Brew leads FaegreBD's food litigation and regulatory practice, which is nationally ranked by Chambers USA. She is recognized nationally for representing food processors, distributors and retailers in foodborne illness and contamination cases, defending them against labeling and class action consumer fraud claims, and representing them in complex commercial litigation and supply chain disputes.

Brew also serves on the Food & Dietary Supplements Subcommittee of the American Bar Association and on the Minnesota State Bar Association's Food and Drug Law Section Council.

The Food and Drug Law Institute is a nonprofit that provides a marketplace for discussing food and drug law issues through conferences, publications and member interaction. The group provides education, training, publications and networking opportunities and promotes an open, balanced marketplace of ideas to inform innovative public policy, law and regulation.
