Deal-Makers to Convene June 4 for Inaugural Indy M&A Conference

On June 4, 2013, Faegre Baker Daniels LLP will host Indiana's first ever M&A Conference, an opportunity for regional business decision-makers to gather, network, and learn the latest trends and best practices in mergers and acquisitions.

This half-day seminar at the JW Marriott will deliver timely and practical insights on deal execution from national and local M&A professionals and their advisors, including investment bankers, private equity professionals, strategic inquirers, attorneys and accountants.

The event, modeled after a successful, similar conference hosted by Faegre Baker Daniels in Minneapolis since 2006, will provide a unique opportunity for those in the Midwest deal-making community to learn more about local deal activities and meet other transaction professionals.

Topics on the agenda include:

• Market update: Current deal activity, valuations and outlook
• Current trends: M&A deal terms and tactics
• Preparing a company for sale: Maximizing curb appeal
• Carve outs: Special considerations when selling or buying a business unit
• Earn outs: I will gladly pay you Tuesday

Panelists include representatives from Allegiant Financial, Amherst Partners, Bank of Indianapolis, Centerfield Capital Partners, CID Capital, City Securities Corporation, Greene Holcomb Fisher, Heartland Food Products Group, Heron Capital, Indianapolis Business Journal, Johnson Ventures Inc., Katz Sapper & Miller LLP, Mason Wells, Onesource Water, Oxford Financial Group, Somerset CPAs, Western Reserve Partners LLC and Zimmer Inc.

The conference will take place at the JW Marriott, 10 S. West St., Indianapolis, on June 4, 2013, from 11:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m., and will conclude with a cocktail reception. To view the agenda or register, visit www.FaegreBD.com/IndyMA. The registration fee is $50.
