Bob Stoll to Give Keynote Address at the Inaugural Ceremony of the Tokyo IP American Inn of Court

Washington, D.C., partner Bob Stoll will give a keynote address at the Inaugural Ceremony of the Tokyo IP American Inn of Court in Tokyo, Japan, on Tuesday, April 16.

This historic event marks the opening of the first American Inn of Court outside the United States.  The Tokyo IP Inn is populated by both Bengoshi (attorneys) and Benrishi (professionals specifically licensed to practice intellectual property law), together with American lawyers resident in Tokyo.

Bob, former Commissioner of Patents at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, will join an all-star cast of speakers, including: Toshiaki Iimura, Chief Judge of Japan’s Intellectual Property High Court, Yoshiyuki Iwai, former Commissioner of the Japanese Patent Office, Chief Judge Randall R. Rader of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, Federal Circuit Judge Richard Linn, and  David J. Kappos, former Under Secretary of Commerce.
