Manufacturer Sells Environmentally Challenged Site

Following environmental issues, building-materials manufacturer GAF sought to sell its former manufacturing property located in New Jersey's industrial corridor. Our firm assisted with the $112 million sale of the 140-acre site and then set up a series of 1031 exchanges to roll the proceeds of the sale into property acquisitions as well as plant development and expansions throughout the United States.
