Baha Mar is a mammoth Bahamian hotel complex which was subject to filings in the U.S. and the Bahamas. Patrick Corr acted for the Bahamian provisional liquidators of various Baha Mar entities following the U.S. Bankruptcy Court’s rejection of Baha Mar’s application for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The U.S. Bankruptcy Court ruled that Baha Mar’s stakeholders would expect its insolvency proceedings to be opened in the Bahamas.
