LDK Solar Completes Judicially Approved Multijurisdictional Debt Restructuring

LDK Solar, a China-based solar panel manufacturer, restructured its off-shore debt through interconditional schemes of arrangement governed by the laws of the Cayman Islands and Hong Kong, with Chapter 15 recognition. Patrick Corr, Wayne Beck, Raphaela Cotoulas and Ian Bambrick acted for LDK Solar in the matter, which was the first judicially approved multijurisdictional debt restructuring of its kind for a China-based corporate group.
