Richard Bernard represented the indenture trustee for notes issued by General Growth Properties (GGP Inc.), one of the largest mall operators in the United States, in one of the largest rights offerings under a chapter 11 plan. GGP Inc. filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
