Ya Wang focuses her practice on securities and investment management matters, with an emphasis on investment management company issues. Ya advises clients on fund formation, reorganization, and ongoing regulatory compliance; preparation of various regulatory filings; and negotiation of fund agreements and contracts with service providers.

Prior Experience

Ya completed a judicial externship for the Honorable Andrew B. Altenberg, Jr., U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey in 2020.

Before joining Faegre Drinker, Ya served as an in-house law clerk and a board of director with Transnational Law and Business University (TLBU) Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to fostering global educational exchange and international cooperation.

Ya was a summer associate with the firm in 2021.
