David Adeleye brings insider experience from previous positions in the White House and Department of Homeland Security to his role as an advocate for Faegre Drinker clients.

Prior Experience

David has significant experience related to domestic policy. He worked at the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, where he advised on the Office’s strategies to further the President’s National Drug Control Strategy. He also served as Midwest director of FWD.us, a bipartisan organization focused on immigration reform, and was a key player in immigration policy announcement strategies for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. David comments on politics and has appeared on local television affiliates and MSNBC.

During law school, David worked as a law clerk on Senator Richard J. Durbin’s Senate Judiciary Committee staff. As a summer associate for the firm, David supported clients navigating adverse employment actions, violations of the Sherman Act, business immigration updates, finance and restructuring laws, IPOs and other matters.
