Building Capacities for Countering Illicit Trade: Working with Key Stakeholders

Libby Baney presented at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s (OECD) Countering Illicit Trade: Levelling the Playing Field for a Resilient Economy, their 11^th plenary meeting. Libby discussed the challenges involved in countering the trade of counterfeit goods as a result of malevolent actors adapting their illicit networks to changes in the environment, and how global cooperation among all stakeholders — including policy makers, law enforcement, industry and intergovernmental organizations — is of the utmost importance.
