ACLI’s Forum 500 Leadership Retreat

Environmental, Social & Governance – A Board and C-Suite Journey

Charleston, SC

Overview

Faegre Drinker partner Bob Mancuso will speak alongside partner Beth Diffley at a luncheon session at the upcoming Forum 500 Leadership Retreat in Charleston, South Carolina, on April 25. In a fireside chat with moderator Patrick Reeder, vice president and GC of the American Council of Life Insurers, they will cover the topic “Environmental, Social & Governance — A Board and C-Suite Journey," exploring case studies on how a C-suite and a board of directors can make the journey to build ESG best practices.

Regulators, legislators, policymakers and, increasingly, customers have been talking about companies’ ESG practices. What does ESG mean to a company? To some, it means preparations for climate change. To others, it means improving diversity, equity and inclusion practices. To others, it means all of that and more. How should a board of directors think about ESG? And how does the C suite think about working with the board?

The Forum 500 Leadership Retreat offers a unique opportunity to network with peers on the hottest and most pertinent issues facing smaller companies and their CEOs. Planned sessions feature leading industry analysts, providing the opportunity to ask the questions you need answered. Forum 500 companies have assets of $2 billion or less, or cap surplus of $200 million or less.
