Fred Reish Appointed to Standards Resource Commission of Certified Financial Planner Board
Los Angeles partner Fred Reish has been appointed to a new Commission established by the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Board comprised of distinguished individuals from financial services firms and members of the public.
As a member of the Standards Resource Commission, Fred will participate in the development of materials, including fact sheets, FAQs, videos, webinars and other documents, to educate CFP professionals and their firms on the new Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct announced by the CFP Board of Directors earlier this year. The commission will aid the CFP Board in ensuring successful understanding, adoption and compliance with the new Standards.
Fred represents clients in fiduciary issues, prohibited transactions, tax-qualification and Department of Labor, Securities and Exchange Commission and FINRA examinations of retirement plans and IRA issues. He is a nationally known authority on fiduciary responsibility, technical compliance matters and litigation issues.
