Construction Contractor Satisfies TSA Investigation

United States - Maryland

A national construction contractor was investigated for alleged violations of Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulations and international airport security requirements. Faegre Drinker represented the company and assisted in resolving the matter with no penalties imposed by TSA. Firm attorneys also advised the company in developing new training and security guidelines for its construction contracts with federal government agencies and for work sites subject to TSA regulations. The successful resolution of this matter was aided by the fact that the federal contractor quickly sought advice from Faegre Drinker upon the company’s receipt of the initial TSA Letter of Investigation (LOI).
