DOJ Prosecutes GC of Theme Park Company for Insider Trading

The U.S. Department of Justice prosecuted a former associate general counsel and assistant secretary of an American theme park and entertainment company for insider trading. Henry Van Dyck led the prosecution in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. The GC pled guilty and admitted that he traded approximately $500,000 in securities based on material nonpublic information about the company’s financial performance, which he gained through board meetings.
