Private Equity Fund Co-Invests in Oil and Gas Efficiency Company

A private equity fund completed a minority co-investment in an oil and gas efficiency company controlled by the energy-focused private equity business of a leading bulge-bracket investment bank. Our firm represented the private equity fund in the equity co-investment. The equity co-investment proceeds funded a portion of the purchase price for the oil and gas efficiency company's acquisition of certain oil and gas interests of an exploration production company.
