Brandon J. Smith

Prior Experience

Brandon previously served as a summer associate with the firm and gained hands-on experience in corporate and transactional law drafting legal memoranda and internal deal checklists. He observed private equity acquisitions and credit financing transactions, deepening his understanding of complex deal structures. In addition to transactional work, Brandon supported litigation matters through legal research and actively participated in the firm’s pro bono efforts, contributing to an asylum application and assisting clients in a family court clinic.

Before law school, Brandon worked at Comcast as a metadata quality editor, reviewing the metadata of thousands of TV episodes and movies weekly to ensure compliance with stylistic standards. This experience trained his keen eye for detail and prepared him to perform legal due diligence in corporate transactions.

Personal Interests

Outside of the office, Brandon enjoys spending time with his wife and cat, playing tabletop and video games, and watching historical dramas.
