Hoosier McCabe’s EPA Nomination Elevates Climate Change Policies

Environmental and energy practice team co-leader Max Kelln and associate Julian Harrell coauthored an article for the Indiana Lawyer, titled “Hoosier McCabe’s EPA nomination elevates climate change policies,” that discusses initiatives the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is expected to take on under the Biden administration.

The article addresses how the Biden administration will likely approach the Clean Power Plan, the Affordable Clean Energy Rule, carbon dioxide (CO2) emission guidelines, and environmental justice. The authors also highlight Indiana-based Janet McCabe’s nomination by President Biden as deputy administrator of the EPA and her role in advancing the administration’s environmental agenda, which includes helping the U.S. achieve “net zero” emissions no later than 2050.
