Minnesota General Election Preview

Election Day on November 3 is right around the corner, and Minnesotans are already casting their ballots. As of September 18, more than one million voters have requested an absentee ballot this year. In 2016, nearly 680,000 voters cast absentee ballots.

In addition to the federal races at the top of the ballot, all 201 Minnesota legislative seats are up for grabs this year. The focus will be on the 14 seats currently held by Republicans in districts won by Governor Tim Walz in 2018 and the 19 seats currently held by DFLers in districts won by President Trump in 2016.
